I presented “Towards Muon Microbeams: Epithermal Muon Generation Using Solid Rare-Gas Moderators and Low-Energy Stopping Power Modeling” at ICNMTA2026 in Sendai.

The presentation summarized our development of solid rare-gas moderators for producing slow muons and the modeling work needed to understand low-energy muon transport and stopping. These studies are part of our longer-term effort toward brighter and smaller muon beams.

ICNMTA2026（仙台）で、“Towards Muon Microbeams: Epithermal Muon Generation Using Solid Rare-Gas Moderators and Low-Energy Stopping Power Modeling” を発表しました。

固体希ガスモデレーターを用いた低速ミュオン生成と、低エネルギー領域におけるミュオン輸送・阻止過程のモデル化について、これまでの開発状況を報告しました。これらは、より高輝度で細径のミュオンビームを実現するための研究の一部です。
