SSRI-PNS Collaboration Meeting
September 3-4, 2015, RIKEN-Wako
The SSRI-PNS (Stop and Slow RI-Precise Nuclear Spectroscopy) collaboration meeting will be held at RIKEN from September 3 (Thu.) to 4 (Fri.) 2015.
SSRI-PNS collaboration is organized to efficiently promote investigation of the ground state or isomeric state properties by applying low-energy spectroscopy technique, such as mass measurement, decay measurement, laser spectroscopy and NMR spectroscopy using the following facilities at the RIBF facility:
- KISS (KEK Isotope Separation System)
- SLOWRI (Slow Radioactive Nuclear Ion Beam Facility)
- GARIS (Gas-filled Recoil Ion Separator)
The collaboration will become a platform for managing and promoting the science with those facilities and relevant devices to be used or constructed.
We will hold the present SSRI-PNS collaboration meeting in order to promote mainly the pre-proposed experiments at KISS. On this meeting, we would like to discuss the collaboration about experiments, equipment and KISS developments, and also discuss the schedule of the experiments and developments. Please join the meeting if you are interested in proposing an experiment using KISS to the future's PAC, and joining the developments of KISS.
We will also discuss about experiments using SLOWRI and GARIS in the afternoon on the 2nd day.
