KEK Annual Theory Meeting on
Particle Physics Phenomenology (KEKPH09)

March 3 - 6, 2009
KEK 4th building 1F, Seminar Hall

Last Update: Mar. 15, 2009

The annual KEK Theory Meeting on Particle Physics Phenomenology (KEKPH09) will be held at KEK, March 3-6, 2009. This meeting covers many topics in particle physics phenomenology, from the Standard Model and models beyond the Standard Model to particle cosmology and astrophysics. We aim to discuss recent developments in particle physics theories and learn about the latest results and status of various ongoing and planned experiments, directly from the experimentalists. We plan, in the first half of every morning session, a series of lectures (given in Japanese) on LHC physics and particle cosmology intended for graduate students at the master course level. We would like as many graduate students as possible to participate in this workshop. We welcome applications for about 20 min. talks by participants. All the talks will be given in English.

All participants are kindly asked to contribute 500 yen towards refreshments during the meeting. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Invited speakers include
  • Kaoru Hagiwara (KEK)
  • Lectures on LHC physics
  • Shigeki Matsumoto (Toyama U.)
  • Lectures on particle cosmology & astrophysics
  • R. Kitano (Tohoku U.)
