CO effect in tex2html_wrap_inline1368 + jet events

A calculation was done for the process tex2html_wrap_inline1370 with parton densities from CTEQ4L [14] for all light quarks. To select tex2html_wrap_inline1368 + jet events, the following cuts are required,

where Pt indicates transverse momentum. For correct calculations in DIS, the following cuts are applied,

The cross-section for 2-tex2html_wrap_inline1066 BH is estimated to be 0.0743tex2html_wrap_inline14080.0003pb and 0.1061tex2html_wrap_inline14080.0003pb for the calculation in the electroweak theory (EW). The difference of 0.03pb comes from the phase space region with low invariant mass and small opening angle of the di-muon system where CO diagrams are dominant (see Fig.5.). The cross-section increases as the di-muon mass decreases down to the kinematical limit of twice the muon mass.
